안녕하세요 KOREA
Has been months since I joined RRD, different challenges and achievements day by day, yet I’m still happy with what I’m up now. Good sign? Yeay or nay? =) So, finally I redeemed my RRD Black Range Voucher with Korean Fine Dining experience. =D It was my Christmas present from the bosses back in 2011. Thank you once again! ♥
It was quite last minute by the time I decided to go for this dining experience as the voucher was expiring soon! Like seriously! Hehehe! However, managed to book a table for two for myself and my sister. My sister “untung” free dining experience, plus, Korean food is her favourite out of all. Lucky you! =P
The food was great, ambiance is the add on to the whole dining experience as it was cozy and quiet. Attentive service is another highlight of the restaurant although we don’t spend huge amount on the day. It is how much I love it when there is great food with serene ambiance, perfect for any catching up sessions with friends nor family.
Below are some pictures to share with all of you before I end the post.

Pilot for a Day to Bernam River Experience
It never crossed my mind that I will ever be sitting in a 4 seater airplane. I never knew that all these small airplanes exist in Malaysia and most importantly, I never really thought I will get the a chance to experience it until I joined RedRibbon Days (RRD).
Theing was asking me the other day whether I’m free on coming Saturday, I have no idea why she asked me that, and she told me our new provider of “Pilot for a Day” experience is giving her a complimentary experience! The experience will be carried out at Subang Sky Park and this time, Theing will be the co-pilot, which means she will get the chance to help manoeuvre the plane up in the air. It is a 4 seater plane, as such, she invited me to come along and experience it since I’m new in RRD, and I never had any RRD experience before.
I was seriously excited about the invitation, but within a minute, I was frightened! Ever since I had an extreme theme park ride back then, my heart couldn’t take in much pressure. I always felt as if it will jump out from where it belongs, whenever I ride on any extreme rides. I’m afraid of height, and I do not feel safe if I stay in a small space especially aircraft! But, I kept telling myself no chicken out at last minute, there’s nothing to be scared of, everything in under watchful eyes of a certificated pilot. This is a golden opportunity as what the Chinese always say, I should cherish it. I didn’t discuss about it with my family, because I knew them so well, my parents will freak out and probably they will ask me not to go. Regardless that my parents were borne with conservative mindsets, I did told my sister and she was okay with it, so I went ahead with it.
On the day, I reached quite early, around 8-ish, and I’m wandering around the airport, taking pictures while waiting for Theing. Theing reached about 9-ish, so we had our McD breakfast, Sausage McMuffin with Egg! Woot woot! It is always my favourite but fattening breakfast! But doesn’t matter, having it once in a while is a bliss! ♥
While we are half way enjoying the breakfast, our pilot, Andreas has reached; my first thought was “Wow! He’s a really tall white guy!” Hehehe! So he joined us and gave us a little pre-flight lesson prior to the actual flight. He gave us some basic knowledge of how an aircraft can actually lift and fly scientifically. The way he explained was interesting and vividly! I’m impressed! Well, maybe I’m a little fussed about it, but I never get in touch with all these flying experiences before, so yea…I guess it was okay for me to react in such way! =D
Prior to the flight, we had an airport tour sitting on a “safari truck” in an open air condition which was belong to our pilot, Andreas! The truck was cool, and wildly painted in black and white zebra prints! We were considered lucky on the day; we have had the chance to see a numbers of aircrafts, helicopters and private jets! Especially those were ages old (even before me and Theing were born) but still well operating until today! Sounds amazing isn’t it?
Apart from that, we also get to check out the Fire Department, where we were amazed by the gigantic powerful trucks that only available in the airport or maybe some other places, but definitely not on the main roads we used to drive pass every day.
Before the flight, a little inspection and checking for the aircraft is necessary, then we are ready to take off! And the real excitement starts now! The 4 seater plane slowly taking off from the land and flying towards the clear blue sky! The feeling was totally different from sitting inside a huge aircraft; it was thrilled and adventurous like a movie scene! What freaked me out was the vertiginous height! Since I’m the only passenger of the day, what I can do is taking pictures of everything and anything! That was my only dispersion from dizziness!
Along the flight, Andreas showed us every check-out point; we spotted Menara Maybank, Menara TM, KL Tower, Petronas Twin Tower and Batu Caves! Definitely a breathtaking city view up in the air! Out of sudden, Andreas said something. He said: “we are going to have some coffee!” At first, Theing and I were thinking of “Are we going to drink our coffee in the airplane and up in the air?” How is that possible! But at the end, Theing told me that we are going to fly over to Bernam River Airfield, and we are actually going to take our little breakfast break over there.
About 30 minutes of flight, we landed at Bernam River Airfield; it was a green, breezy and cosy big field with constantly supplies of fresh air! Guarantee a wonderful short break from the hustle and bustle city! “Parked” the plane under a tree, and we walk around the field, we noticed there were gas and stove, and some cooking equipments. Andreas is going to cook us breakfast, now that we all knew the reason he brought a storage box with bread, eggs, seasoning, coffee and dishes inside! He even brought his own traditional Chinese silver kettle to boil water for our coffee! How cute! We also noticed there was a portable swimming pool where visitors can swim and play with beach ball. But please do bring over your own swimsuits, swimming equipments, clothes for change, toiletries, and things that you think they are necessary.
After a quick tour around the airfield, we get to enjoy our breakfast – scramble eggs, wholemeal bread and coffee served freshly on the table! It still tastes yummy regardless that I’m stuffed with McD before that! We were chit chatting while eating our breakfast, and I used to have this thought when I was young after I watched a drama, story line was about pilot and airstrip - How great if I can have a day out with the coolest and handsome pilot in that drama! Now, my wish has granted, but of course not the pilot starring in the drama, but is a day out with an actual pilot! I never expect that a silly thought of mine would have come true one day! Don’t you feel awesome to experience such an exclusive treats? Well, at least I did!
After the relaxing breakfast session, we wanted to check out Bernam River behind the airfield. It was a very typical local river, surrounding by trees and bushes, definitely not an ideal location for fishing either. Other than that, we met Howard, a friendly dog with yellow-ish fur, but he looked so lonely. Probably there wasn’t much crowd, and he was not that passionate in meeting new people.
We spent about 1 and half hour at Bernam River Airfield. While we were heading back to Subang Sky Park, Andreas was pointing out every check out point as how he did during the flight to Bernam. Apparently, RAWANG is one of the important check-out points! Hahaha! I’m proud of it! The returning to Subang Sky Park was a daunting experience! As Theing, our co-pilot of the day, she helped to manoeuvre the plane by holding the controller, and all out of sudden, the plane was descending and lifted again! I’m screaming and frightened, my mind was all blank! OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! That was what I could ever describe my feeling! And I would like to say it was a climactic moment of the day!
Overall, the experience was fun, thrilling, adrenaline pumping, adventurous! Most importantly, this was the most awesome and extreme experience that I have ever had! Many many thanks to RRD for providing such a wonderful flying experience! =D
Before I end the post, here are some amazing pictures that I would like to share with all of you! :)

My First RRD Event
Holaaaaa! Finally here comes the update of my first event job in RedRibbon Days ! FYI, RRD not only provides unique experience gifts, RRD does event as well. =) It was a birthday party of a little boy, his name is Keagen if I’m not mistaken on the spelling. It was a really great opportunity for me to gain more experiences, having better knowledge on how to organize and manage an event, the preparation prior to the official day, during the event and of course after the event!
A day before the official party day, Sherin, Nik, Lawrence and I went to the party venue to do some preparations. The birthday boy has requested for a Batman’s theme birthday party, and it will be carried out in a hall. How does Batman cinema experience birthday party sounds to you? Sounds cool huh?! Yeap, we are going to organize a Batman show and RRD team will need to transform the hall into a cinema by cover up the entire glasses in that hall with black sugar paper!

Sherin and I were up there putting up the papers, tough task huh!

Hunter & Gatherer
The very first task to usher in 2011 was hunting and gathering new experiences for RedRibbon Days! Me and Lawrence, we were assigned to this new task while me will assist Shiva, and Lawrence will assist Theing in their assigned categories (i.e Beauty & Fashion, Gourmet, Outdoor, Getaway, Flight & Flying and etc). Each group shall working closely together with their teamate and the winning group will be rewarded! o.O Wondering what is the “grand prize”!
Ever since then, everybody keep looking for new experiences and has been contacted so many suppliers just to get them on board! But some suppliers are just too cocky in liasing partnership with RedRibbon Days! Well…I would say in the position of pleasing people, it is no doubt that you will definitely encounter with this kind of situations, what I can do is keep looking, keep calling and be persuasive!
Ohh yea! We have a name for our own group, me and Shiva will be “Shinny” (combination of Shiva and Penny). Theing and Lawrence will be “Milo” (both of them are milo fans). Cute isn’t it? Teeeeeheeeeeeeeee!

Theing and Lawrence discussing their “strategies” to win over the challenge! =P
The challenge suppose to be ended on 17th January, however, now it has been extended for another 2 more weeks! How good is that! Which means the Shinny team could have more time to researching for new experiences and trash down Milo team! *I’m watching you* Someone should have got what I meant here…Ngek ngek ngek…Shinny team has their own “secret weapons” to take down Milo team! You have no idea what you all dealing with……*evil grin*
On the other hand, throughout the days of researching, I found out that there are tons of new experiences out there in somewhere for us to discover! Although RedRibbon Days have had more than 1000 experiences on the list, but there are still a lot more to be discovered! This is really good opportunity for me explore and expose myself to the community, a golden chance to build up your networking as well! =D
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who win over the challenge, if you sees it as a stepping stone to the success, you will be granted for your accomplishment someday!
Wishing everyone have a great and pleasant week ahead! ♥

Christmas 2010 at RedRibbon Days
HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS PEOPLE !!! At this moment in the year of 2010, I realize how time flies! Everything seems just happened in a blink of eyes! What was happening during 2010? A big one! Ohh yea! My graduation! And…..What else? I got a job, an official one…at REDRIBBON DAYS as a Pleasure Team Consultant. =D
So, this year, my first time Christmas celebration with bosses and colleagues! We had a karaoke session which offically known as RedRibbon Days Annual Xmas Party! We celebrated Christmas 1 week earlier at Red Box! This year was a little bit different from last year according to the colleagues, Kris Kringle event happened as usual, but 1 thing different is the “gift”. So, “someone” came out with this “brilliant” idea, everyone of us needs to give an experience instead of a tangible gift to your KK partner!
Okie alright, everyone squeezed their brain juice so hard to come out with 1 experience to give to their partner! Well, it was fun and surprise thou !!! My KK partner was Ming Ne, and I gave her “I Tremendously Have A Thing with Bieber”! Hahaha, she is a big fan of Bieber! It supposed to be I will sing her 10 times of ”Baby” at the K session, but ended up I sang only once because the others were complaining about the experience because they are not into Bieber! Indeed, it was a successful experience for Ming Ne ! Teeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !
Thank you bosses for the xmas party, and most importantly I received my first RedRibbon Days voucher as xmas pressie! Thank you so much bosses! ♥
Christmas tree with experience vouchers at RedRibbon Days ! Woot woot~

I got my experience from my KK partner - Shiva ! Thank you so much ! ♥

Get to Know Things in RRD
Hi peeps! Hope everyone is doing fine, good day ya! ;) After the first week, I’m still experiencing and exploring with RRD’s website, things got easier when you practice often! I started to remember the information automatically, I’m happy with the result. Meaning that I’ve made one more step closer to the expectation! =)
After a couple of days, I got “Pleasure Team Consultant Training Questions” from my boss, Sherin. Basically, it was a test for me to see how I actually reply email to customers when they send in the inquiry in terms of English, style, grammar, tone, manner, selection of words…I’m kind of nervous to attend to those questions, because I did treated them as “real” emails from customers. I’m trying my best to answer the questions, checking back and forth on RRD’s website, checking with Theing and Shiva for things that I’m unsure with. It was a really good training as I get to know things better, and I could expect what type of questions customer would ask. Some questions can be very silly, but I still have to attend to it with an accurate manner as a Pleasure Team Consultant! And that’s what we call professional! =D
My result did not turned out good, it was the other way round! I gotta really change my style of writing, structure and English as well, they sound unprofessional. The feedback did bothered me for a while, but I knew that I’m not the only one who make mistakes. Just keep telling myself to improve, improve better and improve it to the perfection! If you wish to to be succeed, you should keep persistence as your good friend and prudence as your sister! Yea, I truly believe in that! =) So, I need to attend to the all the training questions again, I wish I can do better this time round!
Some new tasks still going on in between the week, I was taught by Theing on how to prepare RedRibbon Days’ signature packaging! I love packaging, and I love to be a gift wrapper! Seeing someone receive a gift is enjoyable, sharing the happiness is the essence of joy! I JUST LOVE IT ♥ The following days, I keep practicing with tie-on ribbon for the packaging, it was tactful, and you gotta have handy hand to do that! However, I still managed to master the steps and skills to tie a good ribbon =) Happy happy! Teeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ~
Gambathe Penny! Hohohohohohoho! ♥
Well, that’s all for now…toodles ♪♪♫
